Callendar House
Callendar house is a french renaissance style building set within a large park setting. This fantastic building is free to enter and tour. The building is situated in a large park beside earth mounds. These large earth mounds are part of the Antonine wall. This wall was part of the Roman empires Northern frontier with Caledonia.
The house itself has a tea room, a working kitchen and museum exhibits to explore. Behind the house is a large woodland area and there is also a kids play park.
