The Travelodge and Premier Inn are located at Newbridge roundabout. This connects the M8 and M9 motorways and is a few minutes drive to the airport. Note you would not walk to the airport from these hotels. Given their location there are numerous buses that go past these. However it is worth checking bus timetables if you are arriving/departing late at night or early in the morning.
The Gyle, Maybury & Edinburgh Park hotels are also worth staying at as they are well served by either the tram or the Edinburgh Airport buses (bus numbers 100,200,300 or 400). In addition it is close to the Edinburgh bypass and this area also has three train stations. These are Edinburgh Gateway, Edinburgh park and South Gyle station.
