What to expect

There is Highland dancing, traditional sports competitions and instead of a pipe band competition there are performances by selected pipe bands.

How to get there

Bathgate is located in West Lothian. By car it is 21 miles from Edinburgh via the M8 motorway (West bound) and 28 miles from Glasgow via the M8 motorway (East bound).Bathgate is well served by public transport. There is a regular bus service provided by First buses and Lothian country buses.Travel by train is also an option with Bathgate station being approximately a mile away from the station. Train timetable and prices can be found on the Scotrail website.

Tickets can be purchased on the day.
