As the name suggests, this expression is matured in a combination of cask types (including bourbon and quarter casks), building a richer, more rounded profile around the distillery’s gentle smoke.
Tasting notes
- Nose: honeyed smoke, vanilla, toffee and orchard fruit.
- Palate: sweet malt, peat smoke, baking spice and oak.
- Finish: medium-long, smoky and mellow.
